I am a mum myself, so basically, I get it. The magic proud moments from something as simple as a burp, in those early days. The way your world completely changes overnight. Everything is wonderful and challenging. Beautiful and foggy. Heart warming and scary. All at the same time. I am a Mum of two tiny humans. Our daughter Anya was born in 2017 and our son, Lucas, was born at the end of 2020. The most important thing in my life is family. One of my biggest fears is missing their firsts, and just as importantly, missing out and not being able to cherish their lasts. So while my kids are still so little, I will be taking on a limited number of photo shoots from my studio in Clear Water Bay.

IT ALL BEGAN WHEN. . .

. . . My father gave me a previously loved Vivitar XV-1 analogue camera, way back in 2000. I started observing the world around me in a different way. Naturally started to understand light and loved to capture raw candid moments. Embracing my love of photography, I studied in London for five years under a veteran photographer who became my mentor. With his support, I went on to receive national recognition for my work with medium format cameras, placing top 5 in England for my A-Level photo essays.

In 2007, I moved back home to Hong Kong where I was born and enjoyed a childhood filled with hikes, beaches and a general love of being near the ocean. Since returning, I have travelled on volunteer photography assignments for several Non Government Organisations in South East Asia, including Outreach International Philippines, Humanitarian Services for Children Vietnam, Breast Cancer Awareness Hong Kong, Child Welfare Scheme Hong Kong and Society for AIDS Care Hong Kong.

In 2013 I stumbled across the world of newborn photography … and the rest as they say, is history. I have had professional training by two separate award-winning photographers, Kelly Brown of Little Pieces Photography Australia and Julia Kelleher of Jewel Images USA, in newborn posing and safety. Lullaby Images was born in 2016 with the sole mission of being Hong Kong’s leading portrait studio, exclusively specialising in newborn photography. Not weddings, not engagement sessions and not corporate events. So you can take comfort knowing that your baby is in the safest hands, being posed with their wellbeing at the heart of every movement, by a professionally trained newborn photographer.
