This parent photography mentoring package is perfect for those wanting to learn how to beautifully capture the fleeting newborn phase, safely in their own home. It is done by remote video sessions with me directly and includes a pre-session chat, to work with you on establishing the best space in your home for the session; identifying the best settings on your camera or phone, for your photography experience; and to discuss what you want to learn from the session itself. I will advise you on how and what to prepare ahead of our scheduled video mentor session; how to set up the perfect area for posing your baby, with whatever you have at home; simple safe baby posing, including how to do a basic photography wrap; and how to make sure your baby is supported at all times. There will be a big element covering advice on lighting and photography angles, which will colour the way you photograph your baby as they grow into bigger tiny humans too... and if you would like guidance on how to achieve beautiful sibling photographs, mum with baby and dad with baby images too, I would love to help you! Some of my favorite family portraits are so simple, but just need the right lighting to make them the kind of images that have you stop in your tracks.
After the session you will send me your favourite 8 images to professionally edit in photoshop, ensuring that you are getting the very best from this session with me. Image retouching will include skin edits to balance out any jaundice, removal of blemishes and flakey skin, and also applying finishing touches to the images so they look just that little bit more professionally polished.
This package is awesome for families who do not want to miss out on recording their baby's unique details in those first few days, and want to learn some basic photography principles to up their photography game. Suitable for newborns from 5 days to 25 days new, this package is inclusive of -
- Pre-session phone consultation to identify what you want from the session, discuss your camera or phone camera, what you would like to learn from our mentoring session.
- A preparation guide on what and how to prepare ahead of our scheduled video conference mentoring call.
- 1-1.5 hours mentoring remote video call where I guide you on how to set up, pose the baby safely, give you advice on lighting and angles for taking the photographs, as well as guidance on beautiful family compositions.
- A selection of 8 of your images professionally edited in Photoshop by me personally.
- Optional photoshop retouching service for additional images at HK$200 per image.
- Final edited digital images will be delivered in colour, as well as black and white conversions, in the highest resolution possible (depending on the original resolution of the images taken with your camera), via online private gallery for download within 20 working days from receipt of the images from you.
