Welcome to a pocket of magic right here in Hong Kong! A corner of this city that is my heart home. This is one of my favourite on location photo shoot spots in Hong Kong. We’ll capture the joy, connection, and little details that make your family unique, while having fun exploring a gorgeous setting.

Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your Tin Hau beach session with Lullaby Images. Think of it as a snapshot of your family’s love and connection, set against the natural beauty of Clear Water Bay. The Tin Hau temple is a short 5 minute downhill walk from the road, and faces the ocean. It makes for lovely back drop with red doors and temple details. Down a few more steps leads out to a pier jetty and on the other side, a beach which nine times of ten, ends up being our very own private escape. It is usually, also very clean and even in high tide, makes for a gorgeous setting.

The best photo shoots here are all about authentic moments—the in-between giggles, tiny fingers in yours, and those fleeting expressions you’ll cherish forever. I’ll guide you gently, with a mix of candid play. There is never pressure to pose with my relaxed photo shoots —I want to capture your family as you are, full of love and connection. As this session does take place at the beach, the best captures will be moments when we embrace all the elements - wind, sand, and water are part of the magic! Let your littles explore and play, so please do bring a towel and change of clothes too, just incase...

The session runs for 90 minutes and I normally like to start it around 2 hours before sunset. This helps us stay relaxed, so we don't rush. No one gets flustered and we can keep a wonderful happy vibe. We want to get the most from your little ones and those magic smiles. This time is ideal for soft, beautiful light too. I’ll confirm your exact time based on the season, the location and when the sun is due to set on the specific date.

I like to bring along a blanket prop to use as a beach blanket for your to all cuddle together, and it also doubles up as a fun tool to play with your little one. We can swing them in it and play parachute... Please make sure to bring your normal out and about bag of tricks. The beach sand is safe to walk on, usually clean and without lots of rocks.

The best photos happen when you’re present and having fun. So please keep your phone out of sight and enjoy slowing down time with your loved ones. It is such a joyful afternoon and way to preserve this season of your family’s story.
