I am so proud to be supporting the It Tastes Like Love campaign.

For World Breastfeeding Week, I have teamed up with them to offer two lucky winners a special give away prize draw.

Up for grabs is not one, but two Lullaby Images' mini photoshoots.

Each photoshoot will be up to 30 minutes at the Lullaby Images studio in Clear Water Bay.

They will include 8 edited high resolution digital images, in both color and black & white (with the option to invest in more images).

I am eternally grateful to my mother who fed me anywhere, whenever I needed it and until I unweaned myself. She didn't give a s*** about perceptions and what people thought. I am fortunate to have grown up where it was totally normal, amongst my mother and aunties.

When I looked into my future, for me personally, breastfeeding my kids was very much at the core of what was important for me. So much so that it was one of the foundations to why Lullaby Images' was established. Not many know this, but I quit my previous career so that I could create my own life flexibility, enabling me to face as little challenges in my breastfeeding journey as possible, and to be present in their younger years. I fed Anya for two years until she basically decided to wean off me (even if I wasn't ready for it) and plan to feed Lucas for as long as it feels right for us. It involves self sacrifice and letting go of many things. It is, however, priceless and magic on so many levels.

I feel blessed that I was in the position where I could make such a huge life choice. Most however, can't and many don't have the support, personally or professionally, to be able to continue feeding their little ones for as long as is right for them. It completely baffles me that in 2021, we need something like World Breastfeeding Week to make feeding our children in public, 'normal'. I believe that Mama's should feel like they can feed their kids anywhere and anytime. It should be a primal thing, without thought. Without the audible tutting or stares. Without being told to go somewhere private. Without being told to cover up.

We should be celebrating the magic. However. Whenever. Wherever.
