I had been looking forward to my in-home bespoke newborn photography sessions with baby Charlotte, especially since finding out she has an older sister around the same age as my Anya. Toddlers can be so much fun in photoshoots and often the sibling photographs are the most cherished family portraits in the whole collection. These photo sessions do tend to take a little longer, to make sure there is plenty of time for the full range of family portrait combinations: mum & littlest bub; mum and all the bub; dad & littlest bub; dad and all the bubs; mum, dad and the tiniest bub; whole family together; siblings together... plus all the normal traditional newborn poses I like to do, the digital newborn art composite ready images and a few simple prop set ups. Planning the timing of the flow of the session is also important with family shoots with an older sibling, as I find toddlers usually benefit from being photographed at the beginning, so they too feel special and then when it all becomes a little less interesting (or it's time for nap) they can disappear for a little bit.

Baby Charlotte was photographed at 21 days new. She has such incredible hair for her age... more than my daughter had at one years old! Charlotte's gallery has such a lovely range of advanced poses and family portraits, a prop and some more natural compositions. I am over the moon with how happy her Mama was after receiving her edited collection. My heart does a little happy dance when I know that the gallery will be loved and they have such beautiful records of one of their most precious times in their lives.
