This tiny human was definitely one of the bigger bundles of squish I have had the pleasure of photographing. Born 9.2lbs, our session was scheduled when he was only 18 days new and the colour palate for the sessions was what I call a lovely 'greige' (grey meets taupe), to match his nursery. This lucky boy has a beautiful bigger sister who is a little under two years old. I love photographing siblings together, they are always one of the most cherished images from the final collection for the family and usually the ones that get turned into beautiful wall art. There is a large safety consideration when photographing toddlers and newborns together. It's all about age appropriate guided poses, and when needed, a little support hand from mum or dad (which gets edited out in photoshop!). Over the years I have developed a few little tricks that I keep up my sleeve to get wonderful sibling portraits. Every toddler is different and it's very much about understanding what they love to get them looking at the camera.

My heart always does a happy dance when the parents love their collection and give such wonderful feedback. I truly love what I do and I am so lucky to be able to do it, also allowing me to spend so much time with my own Anya.
