Introducing baby Ralph! This little man was my last bespoke newborn session of the year, back in July pausing all photo shoots for a month with the third COVID-19 wave here in Hong Kong. In September I entered the third trimester of my own pregnancy and decided I would need to switch my sessions to lifestyle shoots Bringing 2 large suitcases of newborn posing gear, and the longer time in a 28oC room while wearing a face mask to achieve the advanced posing, was starting to become a little too much of a physical challenge on me and my growing bump!
I love the neautral tones we used in his session of whites and greys. I got to christen one of my newly hand knitted wraps that I have been working on fora few weeks! We captured all the little things that make him, him. His pouty lips, button nose, tiny toes, fabulous hair, the cutest little smile... and of course plenty of portraits of him cuddling up with his mama and father.
I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love. To beautifully freeze time for parents, so they can always look back at how tiny their little one once was, for a time that will seem so fleeting in a matter of weeks. Capturing this parental connection and raw emotion, in one of the most significant times in their lives is such an honour. I love being welcomed into homes that are filled with so much love and warmth. It truly feeds my soul.

I am a Hong Kong based photographer specialising exclusively in newborn and baby portraits, establishing Lullaby Images in 2016. I have extensive training in newborn baby posing and safety. I am a mum to a fiercely independent toddler who loves little adventures. With both professional and personal experience with tiny humans, baby safety and comfort is at the heart of all my photo sessions.
