As a newborn baby photographer here in Hong Kong and a mum to an 11 month year old myself, I am only able to take on a limited number of photography sessions a month. This is another reason why I made the decision long ago to choose newborn photography as my speciality. I love what I do, but for now, there is only a limited amount of time that I can put aside for my sessions. It is also for this same reason, that if you love my style and are considering getting professional newborn photographs of your baby, you reach out well before your due date. With only limited appointments available each month, it's best to reach out while you are in your second trimester and not wait until after your baby is born. The nature of what I do means that I always need to maintain a high level of flexibility for my clients that have booked already. For me personally, as I am still finding my part time working mum balance. I have only been taking on one or two clients a month since the start of summer with Anya still not even 1 years old. It is definitely a tough one. I love being with Anya but my photography sessions also energise my soul. I am being kind to myself though, giving myself grace to find my rhythm, even if very slowly.

This little beauty Elsie was so comfortable in her Mama's tummy that she decided to stay put, past her due date. It was lovely to finally meet her parents after speaking to her mum several months before, when she originally reached out. Little Elsie was such a good newborn baby model. Super comfortable in my new newborn posing beanbag and already showing some super cute personality quirks. She very much liked to have her hands up near her face and had the most wonderful chubby cheeks, with gorgeous locks of hair. Here are a few highlight images from my newborn baby photography session.
