I could not wait to meet this little man. When I started dabbling with newborn photography in HK back in 2016, his older brother Teo was actually my very first baby model. Talk about epic nostalgia. Looking back at that first shoot, Kasper was so much like his older brother Teo. Super chilled and a such a good sleeper. It was in this newborn photography shoot though, that I realised how much my workflow has changed over the years. I love being a lifelong learner. Forever improving and streamlining. While I have always loved documenting all those macros details from the eye lashes, to the tiny toes, to the their pouty lips; my focus has definitely also evolved to equally love stylising those super curvy poses that make you just swoon. I still like to keep it timeless a symple, letting the baby's features shine in a photograph, instead of it getting diluted by busy headbands and props. This Mama loves green. So I picked a green fabric for his set up and had this very special digital art piece in mind head of our session. I also played a little with colour changes in photoshop to a warmer grey to add some variety to his collection.

I was so happy to photograph him in my home studio and had the extra joy of photographing his family in an on location family photoshoot, up at the peak gardens in Hong Kong. We go some lovely images with the various family combinations together, and got to include his fur sister Lizzy as well. The afternoon was relaxed and enjoyed alot of running around the manicured park. It is actually also one of my personal favourite spots in HK, where my husband and I got married 4 years prior, with our resuce dog Hiro sitting with us in the cutest homemade bow tie and cuffs.

Here are a few highlight images from my session with baby Kasper, photographed at 19 days new.

I am a Hong Kong based photographer specialising exclusively in newborn and baby portraits, establishing Lullaby Images in 2016. I have extensive training in newborn baby posing and safety. I am a mum to a fiercely independent toddler who loves little adventures. With both professional and personal experience with tiny humans, baby safety and comfort is at the heart of all my photo sessions.

I hate saying 'no'. Help me say it less by reaching out to talk about your newborn photography session well before your due date. I only take on a limited number of bookings a month and many Mamas reach out to me in their second trimester to book in their session.
